The roots of ASSA and ABLOY go back more than a century. The two businesses merged to pool their expertise and meet the demands of a growing security market in 1994. ASSA ABLOY quickly grew into the global leader in access solutions with over 61 000 employees and brands such as HID and Yale.
ALCEA has been manufacturing cutting-edge security supervision software and associated electronic control equipment in France since 1995. ALCEA is now part of ASSA ABLOY.
